Fire Safe Europe
13 Jun 2023
Together with other 17 organisations working on improving the fire safety of European citizens, Fire Safe Europe calls on the European Commission to establish a structural coordination of all EU policy initiatives related to fire safety of European buildings.
While fire safety of buildings is a national competence, it is impacted by and impacts many EU policies and initiatives of the EU Green Deal. A better coordination will ensure that fire safety is properly addressed and complements the energy transition.
For this reason, 18 organisations working on improving the fire safety of European citizens have co-signed a letter calling on the European Commission to establish a structural coordination of all EU policy initiatives related to fire safety of European buildings.
