FSEU Data Webinar – Learning from other EU initiatives

Mar 15, 2019 | Featured, News

Fire Safe Europe (FSEU) held the third webinar of the data collection webinar series “Learning from other EU initiatives which have been collecting data with the aim to increase safety” which took place on Friday, March 15. The webinar provided interesting insight into tunnels fire safety.

The speakers Guy Marlair and Benjamin Truchot offered a very informative presentation, which focused on targeting better safety practices and regulations from analysis of fire databases. The presentation focused on different incidents in the tunnel sector, which encouraged better fire safety practices and regulations. To conclude, the presenters stressed the importance of managing fire statistics from different databases in order to avoid biases.

Participants asked many interesting questions, which the presenters adequately addressed.

FSEU would like to thank Mr. Guy Marlair and Mr. Benjamin Truchot for sharing their knowledge and for making this webinar possible.
